It’s not exactly a glamorous life, but Kevin takes the job seriously enough (especially now that he’s stopped drinking), and he’s good at it. Still mourning the recent loss of his wife and child in a traffic accident, he just hopes something better will soon come along.
Soon.
So when an old friend, now the chief of security at Empire Realm, one of the city’s endless theme parks (After Disney World, Sea World, LegoLand, Universal Orlando, ThisWorld, ThatLand, etc., etc.) come offering him a potentially lucrative job helping to prevent a public relations disaster, Kevin jumps at the chance. Only problem is that the PR nightmare is that in a span of just three weeks, two visitors to the place have already been found, strangled to death, and that some whack job may be using the park as his own personal hunting ground.
So much for “one of the happiest places on earth”…
Fans of Carl Hiaasen will eat this up.

UNDER OATH
- “… a funny read for those of us who live in Florida near places like Disney and Universal Studios. I thought someone should turn this into a funny movie, but then I remembered that the same folks who own the movie studios also own the theme parks.”
