So if he’s an amateur, at least he’s a gifted one. Plus, in true “boy detective” fashion, he has a few loyal “chums” to help out.
A great spin-off that never feels cheap or cranked out, the Mickey books should appeal to any kid who likes a good read — or any adult, for that matter.
And that’s what Amazon counted on, when they decided to launch a mini-series, Harlan Coben’s Shelter, based on the first novel in 2023.
