Jewel Savage & Henry Bevel

Created by Dan Ames with Ariel Adams

In the “Stolen Time” series, former FBI Agent JEWEL SAVAGE and her horologist buddy, watch expert HENRY BEVEL, form a private investigation agency with a very specific speciality: they hunt down valuable watches that have gone missing.

No, honestly. I’m not making this up.

Though the authors do get extra points for “Jewel,” “Bevel” and for calling it the whole damn thing the “Stolen Time” series.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

“International bestselling novelist” Dan Ames continues to pump them out at a steady stream, averaging close to twenty short, fast-paced thrillers a year. He’s the name behind the Jack Reacher Cases and the Jack Reacher’s Special Investigators books, two series “set in the Jack Reacher universe by permission of Lee Child,” as well as a mountain of other series and occasional standalones featuring  private eyes such as John Rockne, August High, Jake Palmer, Mary Cooper Burr Ashland, Wade Carver and one private investigator/bounty hunter known simply as The Garbage Collector

My only question? Is Dan Ames a real person, or a house pseudonym? Because the massive number of books cranked out, and the scarcity of biographic info anywhere, makes me wonder. Don’t it make you wonder?

Meanwhile, Ariel Adams is (possibly) “one of the most controversial bloggers and opinion leaders on the English speaking internet, and the founder of  aBlogtoWatch, one of the largest existing horology websites,” and the author of a slew of semi-steamy romance novels, some featuring vampires.
