Harry Tolland

Created by by Russell Dupont

A former pro football player who bounced around the NFL for a dozen years, HARRY TOLLAND had his career tackled for good thanks to bad knees. Now he’s in his mid-forties, back in Southie, with a brief stint in the Army, a wife (Rose) and a few years hiding out in the boonies of Barton, Vermont (about twenty miles from the Canadian border) behind him, working as a private investigator, taking over Bayview Investigations after his father’s death.

But it turns into more of a homecoming than he expected, in the self-published series debut Waiting for the Turk (2019), when he’s hired by a local big shot to help out his “asshole” son, who’s been arrested for the murder of a woman whose body was found in the trunk of her car.

And more are on the way, according to the author. “I have a couple in the works,” her says. “The next Harry is set in Barton, Vermont.”
