Filipino-American bounty hunter DOMINGO has a speciality: tracking down and capturing “illegals” (undocumented immigrants) who have committed criimes.
Yeah, there’s an irony in there, and he knows it. An immigrant himself (legal since 1998), he’s not without sympathy, but it’s also what makes him so good at his job.
And at forty-something, defiantly old school and relentless, he’s very, very good at his job. He’s a bail enforcement agent, licensed in eight states, and more than willing to do what he has to to bring his targets in.
But beyond the door-kicking and handcuffing, Multo (2023), the first in a proposed series, offers a nuanced and refreshing perspective on immigration–in his spare time, Domingo works on a handbook for immigrant wannabes.

Filipino-American writer Cindy Fazzi has worked as a journalist in the Philippines, Taiwan, and the United States, and her work  has been published in Snake Nation Review, Copperfield Review, and Electric Literature. She has published a romance novel under a pen name and a historical novel, My MacArthur. She lives in Sacramento, CA.
