LILY CROW is the heroine in a one-off from author Liliana Hart; a spin-off novella from Hart’s best-selling Laurel Valley romance-tinged series of thrillers, which follows the lives (and loves) of the O’Hara clan of the sleepy, idyllic, post card-perfect town of Laurel Valley, Idaho.
But Return to Laurel Valley (2024) initially seems like a whole different cut of meat. Sure, there’s romance and suspense –this is Hart’s forté, after all. Crow, however, is a bounty hunter; a professional hard-ass. A motorcycle-riding manhunter who’d rather never see Laurel Valley again, thankyouverymuch.
Especially since there’s still a pending arrest warrant waiting there for her. And a local sheriff who’d be more than happy to serve it.
A local sheriff who just happens to be… her ex. Whose name happens to be Blaze O’Hara. So, not as much of a thematic stretch as I thought, and no–Lily would rather not go home.
But of course, Jackson Coltrane, the man she’s hunting (he skipped bail after being arrested in New York for the murder of his wife) has decided Laurel Valley is the perfect place to go to ground in.
