It’s the Roaring Twenties, the Jazz Age, and even if Prohibition kicked in back in 1920, New York City is still bopping. Nightclubs, gambling joints, showgirls, speakeasies…
And wandering through it all are private eyes GINNY DUGAN and her partner, Jack Crawford. Jack is hunky but troubled, and gal-about-town Ginny, formerly an advice columnist for Photoplay, is beginning to suspect he might be more trouble than he’s worth.
Granted, it was initially his agency, and their partnership was more a matter of reluctant convenience than anything, but still…
And of course, party-hearty Ginny has a few other things to deal with, like Dottie, her disapproving showgirl sister, and the fact that Ginny is, uh, queer.

Toronto writer Olesya Lyuzna has a passion for queer noir. Her debut novel Glitter in the Dark was selected for a 2020 Pitch Wars mentorship by Layne Fargo and Halley Sutton. She spends her free time hosting murder mystery parties and scouring the archives for unsolved crimes.
