“Gloria doesn’t care from legal.”
— Bannon tries to explain Gloria

Look out!

GLORIA MORRIS is a smart, literate San Francisco private eye; an easy-on-the-eyes B-girl with a good rep and an “explosive sense of honor,” with a fondness for Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain and “frisky ladies.”

I’m not quite sure what “explosive sense of honor ” means, but I guess it means you shouldn’t mess with the former cop and Army vet. She’s working as a P.I. now, but she really has only one client, Sheridan Bannon, a wealthy attorney, legal scholar and political player, for whom she does research. She hunts down legal documents and occasionally… missing persons. She’s also been known to kick ass when necessary.

Which is swell, because the quick-tempered Gloria prefers more hands-on assignments, championing the innocent while dishing out harsh justice to the guilty.
