RON ARCHER is a 1938 New York City eye walking down the street when --WHAM!!!--he finds himself in 1938 in New York City walking down the street. the catch is that "Goebbels was speaking in Union Square, Hitler invited me to a cocktail party, and aliens from outer space were running the whole show."

Seems our boy Ron has "sideslipped" into a paralell world where some alien invaders called the Angels have conquered Earth and allowed the Nazis to rise to power in the States. Not really much of a detective story, but very interestink.
