It's another lesbian PI from the Naiad Press! In this case, it's New York City's ROBIN MILLER, a San Francisco romance novelist and travel writer who becomes a New York private eye in her second appearance, 1993's Crazy For Loving.Hmmm. This probably means she gets around, but I imagine her wandering will often lead her to an old old lover or two. Seems to be standard operating procedure for this genre.
I hadn't read any of the series, but somehow I had the feeling I should issue a CUTE WARNING here. The only Robin I'd ever stumbled across that wasn't playing for cute was BATMAN's sidekick, and he wore short pants and a cape. Turns out, though, I was wrong. Robin's tough, intelligent, tenacious, and passionate, as evidenced by the occasional rather raunchy love scene
