Created by Larry Darter
RICK BISHOP is a former cop turned easy-going Honolulu private eye created by Larry Darter, who specializes in divorce investigations or anything else that doesn’t seem too taxing. Along with his two buddies Joe Rose and Koko Mahelona, he bumbles his way through assorted Magnum-like antics, collecting various bumps, bruises, cracked ribs, and lacerations.
Even his creator/publisher refers to him as a “half-boiled defective detective,” gleefully noting his shabby office on Hotel Street and tagging him “Honolulu’s most inept and indolent gumshoe.”
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Best known for creating Los Angeles private detective Ben Malone, the prolific author has also written several novels featuring T. J. O’Sullivan, a female New Zealand ex-pat who works as a P.I in Honolulu, Hawaii, and has another series featuring LAPD homicide detective Howard Drew.
